We recently launched the Nuco 2023 Spring Collection so we thought we'd share our favourite items from the edit alongside some tips on how to style them in your own home.
Our Spring collection has been carefully curated ready for the new season. We've introduced some beautiful new metals, such as antique brass, and warm coloured woods to bring some alternative tones and warmth to the collection. Alongside this we've got over 20 new spring and summer faux flower stems, some of which are included in the 3 new spring arrangements we've created just for you. As you can see from our previous collections, we love the texture that stoneware accessories bring to a space, so we've added to this further with some gorgeous new ceramics, some of which are in warmer terracotta tones, perfect for the summer!
It was a difficult task to short list our favourite products from the collection as we really do love it all, but here's our top picks to inject some feeling of the new season into your home.
1. White English Spring Blossom Stems
What a wonderful sight to behold when the blossom starts appearing on the trees in the early spring, especially on those milder days when the sun shines brightly in the blue sky. Blossom is one of the first things that comes to mind when it comes to spring, it's just a shame it only lasts a short while. However, with our beautiful white English blossom stems, you can enjoy the everlasting feeling of spring all season long. Our blossom branches are a tall and bountiful spray of faux white and pink tinged blossom, that will add height and joyful spring vibes to any room. Style a couple of the English blossom stems in a rustic vase for a simple yet beautiful spring arrangement.
2. Antique Brass Hurricane Lanterns
Even though the nights are starting to get lighter, it's still lovely to have some candles around your home. The simple elegance of our antique brass hurricane lanterns mean they look stunning even when the candle isn't lit. A beautiful glass hurricane lantern with antique brass base for a simple, yet elegant effect. The golden tones of the brass make a space feel instantly warmer. These lanterns look beautiful styled together as a pair on a shelving unit or coffee table.
3. Melun Planters & Bottle Vase
The Melun planters and bottle vase we've added to our range certainly bring a bit of something different. These 'French chic' products have an intricate blue-grey floral pattern printed on them, making them a beautiful addition to any home and giving a space a vintage feel. They sit well in a neutral colour palette, offering a unique pattern and texture. The items from this range are the perfect addition to a shelving unit or placed to the side of a kitchen hob to add interest.
4. White & Green Hydrangea Wreath
When we think of wreaths, we often associate them to Christmas time, however you can style wreaths on your front door or around your home all year round and it's a nice way to represent the current season. At 45cm in diameter, this white and green hydrangea wreath is packed full of vibrant and life-like petals. Each petal has been individually hand-painted in soft shades of white and green, giving each petal a unique look. Style this wreath on your front door to give your entrance a real wow factor, hang on an internal wall in the kitchen or lay flat on a table as a spring centrepiece with a hurricane lantern in the middle.
5. Rustic Terracotta Bottle Vase
Our range of rustic stoneware is really popular, so we wanted to make sure we extended our offering in this range. The stunning terracotta bottle vase with it's rustic brown tones brings an immediate warmth to any space. It has a distressed white wash finish, adding texture and intrigue. It is smaller than other stoneware vases we have in our range and so it works well styled either with or without faux flowers. As a decorative accessory, it looks gorgeous on a shelf or in a kitchen. If styling as a vase, using a couple of minimalistic stems such as berrys, pussy willow or blossom complements the vase's rustic tones.
6. Tulip Stems
It wouldn't be a spring collection without some tulips! We have sourced the most beautiful realistic faux tulips for this new collection, that have the beauty of real tulips, without the downside of drooping. The stems come in two different colours, a beautiful off white or a gradated soft pink and they are complemented by the green leaves that run the length of the stem. These stems are best styled simply as a bouquet of tulips in a beautiful vase. Either style tulips of the same colour together or mix some of the soft pink and off white stems together.
7. Acacia Wood Decorative Bowl
Last but certainly not least on this feature, is the acacia wood decorative bowl. This beautiful acacia wood decorative bowl brings a lovely warm natural feeling to a space. The wonderful brown grain runs in different directions across the circular stand and bowl. A great addition to a neutral colour scheme looking to introduce some earthy tones and textures. This decorative bowl works perfectly styled on a shelving unit, coffee table or in a kitchen. Adding accessories, such as faux fruit, can elevate the bowl even more.
